Patient can be treated as outpatient
Does this patient need admission?
As a rough guide, a CURB65 prognostic score of 0-1 can generally be managed as outpatients, whereas ≥2 likely require admission.
Score one for each of the following: confusion, urea >7, respiratory rate >30, low BP (<90/60), age >65
Patient requires hospital admission
Patient requires ICU admission
