Uncomplicated UTI (Inpatient or Outpatient) Non Pregnant
Complicated UTI Systemically Well (Inpatient or Outpatient) Non Pregnant
Patients with structural or functional abnormalities such as obstruction, chronic catheter, spinal cord injury etc.
UTI Systemically Unwell (Inpatient) Non-Pregnant
High fever, septic, vomiting, upper tract symptoms
Acute Uncomplicated Pyelonephritis (Outpatient) Non-Pregnant
Non-obstructed, mild, less than 60 years of age, no nausea, vomiting, no evidence of dehydration, sepsis or high grade fever
Severe Pyelonephritis Non-pregnant
Over 60 years of age, nausea, vomiting, evidence of dehydration, sepsis or high grade fever
