Amoxicillin-Clavulanate 875/125 mg PO BID x 5-7 days
OR
Ceftriaxone 1 g IV q24h x 5-7 days * If cannot tolerate PO
Alternative for patients with true beta-lactam allergy only. Refer to beta-lactam allergy assessment algorithm.
Moxifloxacin 400 mg PO* q24h x 5-7 days
*If PO is not feasible, then IV is acceptable in these situations.
