  • Nonspecific rashes

  • GI Intolerance

Cross reactivity with 3rd and 4th generation cephalosporins is low (<3%)

The benefit from beta-lactam antibiotics outweighs the potential risk in these patients

Serious Penicillin Allergies

  • Anaphylaxis

  • Angiodema

  • Breathing problems

  • Hives
