Azithromycin 1 dose/day for 3 days
Day 1: 12 mg/kg
Day 2-5: 6 mg/kg
OR
For >8 yr: Doxycycline 4.4 mg/kg IV, single dose (300mg as a single dose in adult)
World Health Organization (WHO) does not recommend the use of doxycycline in children with cholera
