Treatment

Artesunate 50mg tablet

AND

Amodiaquine 153mg base tablet

Dosing

Body Weight of 3-10 kg:

  • Artesunate 1/2 tablet od

  • Amodiaquine 1/2 tablet od

Body Weight of >10 kg:

  • Artesunate 1 tablet od

  • Amodiaquine 1 tablet od

Notes

Target dose:

  • 4 mg/kg/day Artesunate od for 3 days

  • 10 mg/kg/day Amodiaquine od for 3 days

Therapeutic dose range:

  • 2-10 mg/kg/day Artesunate

  • 7.5-15 mg/kg/dose Amodiaquine
