Diabetic Foot Infection

Two or more of the following:

• Purulence

• Erythema

• Pain/Tenderness

• Warmth

• Induration

• Cellulitis/Erythema ≤ 2cm around the ulcer

• No signs of systemic ilness

Clinically stable with one or more of the following:

• Cellulitis ≥ 2cm around wound

• Streaking

• Abscess

• Deep tissue

• Gangrene

• Involvement of muscle, joint, tendon or bone

• Systemic toxicity (fever, chills, hypotension etc.)
