Continuous pulse ox not required in all admitted patients
PO vs NG vs IV fluids to maintain hydration
Consider chest PT if atelectasis suspected based on exam
Antibiotics: If patient has evidence of bacterial super- or co-infection or underlying medical problems placing them at higher risk for complications
Steroids: Not indicated
Deep suctioning: Not indicated
Oseltamivir*
*If influenza suspected/confirmed within 48hrs of symptom onset or if patient has underlying medical problems placing them at higher risk for complications
Discontinue monthly palivizumab prophylaxis if breakthrough RSV infection
