Inclusion Criteria
Initial Clinical Impression of Discitis/Vertebral Osteomyelitis in the setting of some or all of the following:
Back pain
Refusal to bear weight
Lordotic or abnormal posture
Decreased spinal motion with forward bending
Order standing AP / lateral scoliosis films
Keep NPO
Call Anesthesia and Radiologist to obtain MRI without contrast of involved site
