  • Nasal colonization with MRSA

  • Injection drug use

Empiric IV Antimicrobial Regimen

Cefazolin 2g IV Q8H

MRSA Risk Factors Present

Vancomycin IV loading dose followed by maintenance for target trough of 15-20 ug/mL
