Albendazole 400mg once, THEN repeat in 2 weeks

  • Taken with food; fatty meal increases bioavailability

Mebendazole 100mg once, THEN repeat in 2 weeks

Drug of choice

OR

Pyrantal pamoate 11 mg/kg base (max: 1g) once, THEN repeat in 2 weeks

  • Suspension can be mixed with milk or fruit juice

  • Drug of choice
