Treatment

One tablet contains:

Artemether 20mg

AND

Lumefantrine 120mg

Dosing

Body Weight of 5-14 kg: 1 tablet bd

Body Weight of 15-24 kg: 2 tablets bd

Body Weight of 25-34 kg: 3 tablets bd

Body Weight of >34 kg: 4 tablets bd

Duration of Therapy

3 days

Notes

Give the first two doses 8 hours apart

Milk or food containing a small amount of fat enhances absorption of Artemether + Lumefantrine
