Antimicrobial class: Aminopenicillin

Average serum half life:

  • Neonates
    PNA 2-7days: 4 hours
    PNA 8-14 days: 2.8 hours
    PNA 15-30 days: 1.7 hour

  • Pediatrics: 1-1.8 hours

  • Anuric patients: 8-20 hours

Biliary Penetration: Detectable levels but lower than serum

Route of Elimination:

  • 90% excreted unchanged in urine within 24 hours
