Treatment of choice: amoxicillin or ampicillin, nitrofurantoin (cystitis only)

Alternative: vancomycin, linezolid

Variably susceptible: fluoroquinolones, tetracyclines.

Aminoglycosides used for synergy in certain infections if no high-level resistance.
