Inpatient - General Principles

For patients with a history of Pseudomonas aeruginosa colonization – two drug therapy is recommended for the duration of treatment.

Staphylococcus aureus may be treated with monotherapy

General duration of treatment is 14 days (ranges 10-21 days)

Do not give the same drug nebulized and intravenous at the same time
