Urinalysis and Urine Culture
Patient is symptomatic
Dysuria + frequency / urgency
Subrapubic pain +/- hematuria
Catheters: new onset delirium / rigors / fever with no alternate site of infection
Spine injury: increased spasticity, autonomic dysreflexia, and/or sense of unease
Pyuria does not differentiate symptomatic UTI from asymptomatic bacteriuria
Patient is not symptomatic
