Stable Patients

Unstable Patients

  • Septic Shock

  • Hypotension

  • Tachypnea

  • Altered mental status

  • Vomiting

  • Abdominal pain

  • New infiltrates on Chest Xray

  • Hypoxia (O2 sats less than 94% on room air)

  • Evidence of localized infection
