Reliably susceptible:

•  Penicillin

•  Amoxicillin/Ampicillin

•  Vancomycin.

Resistant to Cephalosporins.

Variably susceptible: Fluoroquinolones.

Aminoglycosides may be used for synergy in specific infections ie infective endocarditis if no high-level resistance. If urinary isolate, most are nitrofurantoin susceptible
