  • Reports of serious skin reactions and sporadic, transient neuropsychiatric events (self-injury or delirium; mainly reported among Japanese adolescents and adults).

Comments

For patients who cannot tolerate or absorb oral oseltamivir because of suspected or known gastric stasis, malabsorption or gastrointestinal bleeding, consider IV peramivir or investigational IV zanamivir in severe cases.
