Consider early imaging (MRI/MRV/MRA) within 24-72 hrs

If any evidence of ischemia, thrombosis or infarction consult STROKE SERVICE and consider continuing Dexamethasone beyond 4 days and adding ASA

Review CSF results as soon as possible.

Therapy Response

If response to therapy is satisfactory, continue treatment and tailor antibiotics based on culture results

If response to therapy is NOT satisfactory, reassess clinical, imaging and laboratory data and consider broadening empiric therapy. Consult ID.
