Drug Toxicity

Asymptomatic elevation in hepatic enzymes, serious and fatal hepatitis, peripheral neuropathy.

Orange discoloration of body fluids, hepatotoxicity (cholestatic), pruritis with or without rash, numerous drug interactions - always review entire medication list!

Hepatotoxicity, nongouty polyarthralgia, asymptomatic hyperuricemia, acute gouty arthritis.

Retrobulbar and peripheral neuritis, color vision.

All patients who will be on EMB for >2 months should be formally evaluated by an Ophthalmologist for color vision monitoring
