Policy

The healthcare team will assess the immunization status of Alternate Level of Care (ALC), Complex Continuing Care (CCC), and adult surgical splenectomy patients at all sites of Markham Stouffville Hospital. All eligible patients will be provided the opportunity to receive immunization during their hospital stay.

The LOT number and expiry date will be documented in the eMAR for all patients receiving vaccination at all sites of Markham Stouffville hospital. If eMAR is unavailable, LOT number and expiry will be documented on the paper MAR.
