Bacterial Prostatitis

Acute Bacterial Prostatitis

  • Chills

  • Fever

  • Perineal and low back pain

  • Irritative and obstructive voiding

  • Prostate tender, swollen, indurated and warm

Chronic Bacterial Prostatitis

  • Prostate exam is normal

  • Greater than or equal to 3 months of urogenital symptoms, with relapsing UTI history
