Moderate

Typical cellulitis or erysipelas with systemic signs of infection:

• Temperature over 38°C

• Tachycardia

• Tachypnea

• Abnormal white blood cell count (over 12,000 or under 400 cells/µL)

5-7 days, but in general treatment should be extended if the infection has not improved within this time period.
