Zanamivir

Use only for adults and children 7 years of age or older

Option for patients with creatinine clearance less than 10 mL/min or on dialysis

Patient must be able to adequately use a dry powder inhaler/device (with or without assistance).

NOT recommended for patients with severe asthma or COPD

If used in patients on bronchodilators, bronchodilators should be used prior to Zanamivir inhalation

10mg (Two 5mg inhalations) twice daily for 5 days
