Cholangitis - Severity
Acute cholangitis can be diagnosed with the presence of the following triad known as Charcot’s triad:
Jaundice
Fever
Abdominal pain
When the following two features are present in addition to three above, a pentad
exists by the name of Reynold’s pentad:
Altered mental status
Hypotension
