Only these drugs are antipseudomonal:

• Pip/Tazo

• Ticar/Clav (no longer commercially available)

• Ceftazidime

• Cefepime

• Meropenem

• Imipenem

• Aztreonam (special access program)

• Ciprofloxacin

• Aminoglycosides

• Colistin

Variable resistance patterns with mechanisms to be resistant to all of these drugs is observed, which is why double coverage is often used prior to susceptibility results.
