Listeria monocytogenes

Empiric treatment is Ampicillin, with Gentamicin synergy when indicated.

For Penicillin anaphylaxis - TMP-SMX may be used. Meropenem has been used.

Susceptible to vancomycin, but probably not optimal therapy.
