PPSV‐23⁽²⁾ x single dose

Target Population

  •  Age ≥65

  •  LTC residence

  •  Alcoholism

  •  Smoking

  •  Homelessness

  •  IDU

  •  Asthma

  •  COPD

  •  Chronic CSF leak

  •  Cochlear implant

  •  Risk of aspiration

  •  Cystic fibrosis

  •  Diabetes

  •  Chronic kidney disease

  •  Chronic liver disease

  •  History of pneumonia

PPSV-23 Booster

Patients with chronic kidney disease and chronic liver disease should receive PPSV‐23⁽²⁾ booster x 1 ≥5 years after initial vaccination

All other patients do not require a booster vaccination
