Treatment of MSSA infections

Allergy (immediate or delayed), Phlebitis at injection site in a peripheral vein, cytopenias, eosinophilia, interstitial nephritis, abnormal liver enzymes

Major Interactions

Can increase methotrexate levels

Decrease mycophenolate levels

Additional Information

Must use higher doses in bacteremia due to highly protein bound
