Diagnosis - ≥18 months

HIV antibody tests can be used and each initial positive antibody assay requires confirmation with 2nd and 3rd tests using a different assay technique

The recommended rapid test kits for 3-assay HIV Testing Strategy are:

• Assay 1 (A1): Determine HIV-1/2 ICT

• Assay 2 (A2): Uni-Gold HIV ICT

• Assay 3 (A3): HIV 1/2 STAT-Pack ICT
