Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae

Penicillin is the treatment of choice for all forms of infection.

E.rhusiopathiae is generally susceptible to penicillin, cephalosporins, clindamycin, imipenem, tetracycline, daptomycin, linezolid and the fluoroquinolones and is usually resistant to amionglycosides, sulfonamines, and vancomycin.
